How to replace the Models 88 and 87 Icerette Motor Faceplate

00:51.65: Begin by removing the cover for the ice making mechanism. 00:55.01: Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws that retain the faceplate. Carefully hinge the faceplate downward. 01:06.01: Cut the wire tie connector. 01:12.01: Using a pair of wire crimpers, squeeze the dead-end connectors on the opposite side of the existing crip. This should facilitate the wire connectors removal. Otherwise cut and strip the wires. 01:31.01: Carefully note the color coding and location of each of the wire connectors before disconnecting. 01:41.01: Using needle nose pliers, carefully remove the connectors from each of the switches. 01:53.01: Remove the grounding screw from the base plate and remove the module. 02:01.01: Install the new faceplate in the reverse order. 02:16.01: Using the supplied dead-end connectors, reconnect the two wiring groups. 02:32.01: Once the wiring is completed, align the cam flat with the shaft of the harvest rake system. 02:39.01: Moving the rake by hand will help align the cam and the rake together. 02:45.01: Make certain that the bin arm aligns with its pivot point on the face plate before final assembly. 03:01.01: Use care not to overtighten the faceplate screws.
